The great thing in the world is not so much where we stand as in what direction we are moving. — Oliver Wendell Homes
Have you lost your passion? Let me help you find it!
Are you feeling boxed in and held back? Let me help you explore the roadblocks that are standing between you and the life you’ve always wanted.
I really want to help you to find and live the life you’re envisioning!
Along the way, I’ll help you to achieve your goals while enjoying the journey. I’d love to help you discover the satisfaction and confidence that comes from working through a difficult challenge to get where you want to be in life.
Reaching the endpoint is great, but it’s the process that really gives you joy and the confidence to tackle that next challenge.
I have seen this professionally working with clients as a coach, but, also in my personal life.
There have been times where I have held back, especially when things seem overwhelming … which usually occurs when I visualize the endpoint from the starting point and there’s this feeling of “oh, I’ll never accomplish that!”
But you know what happens when you put your foot forward and take that first step? The whole universe seems to come together to make your goals and dreams happen. I’m not kidding! This happens! But you have to do the work and keep taking those steps!
And, that’s where I come in … I walk alongside you and with you as you figure out what direction your energy is taking you. And, I help keep you accountable along the way.
Along with life coaching, I specialize in coaching individuals who want a better relationship with their spouse or intimate partner. I’m a Certified Gottman Therapist (CGT) and have worked with couples for over eight years in my therapy practice. (You can find out all about his method and John Gottman’s research here: www.gottman.com).
I’ve used this method successfully with couples and I now use it with individuals. And, here’s why! Sometimes a relationship is not ailing but just needs some oiling. And, all it takes is one person who has a goal of changing the relationship, and not trying to change their partner.
There are so many couples who just want to know “are there relationship rules” that might help me understand the person I love? Or, is there some type of relationship quiz I can take that will show me how my relationship is doing?
Guess what! Yes, there is a quiz … well, actually, a test … that’s based on a lot of research that can help you see what your strengths are and what your challenges are. And, yes, there are definitely rules to this whole thing called “love and intimacy” and you really need to know what those rules are if you want to have a healthy relationship.
No matter what your relationship – heterosexual, gay, lesbian, long-distance, long-term or just starting out – these same rules apply.
So, whether it be relationship advice for men, or relationship advice for women, or if you’re wondering if you can take that platonic relationship to the next level, I can help!
I have been married 33 years to the same great guy. Has it always been easy? Of, course not! We definitely have had our challenges! But, I can tell you from a personal point of view, that this method and these relationship rules have helped me look at my husband and myself in a different way. Instead of trying to change him, these things have helped me to create positive, lasting changes that affect our relationship in a better way because it has a domino effect. I mean, that’s all any of us really want … a positive, healthy relationship that brings us joy … one, that we look forward to at the end of the day … not one that we dread.
