What were you born to do? Do you remember? Did you ever know?
If you’ve forgotten, or maybe never really knew, what you were born to do, or be, you’re not alone.
It’s quite likely that you’re missing out on some pretty important things. Like connections. A connection to a job that gives you meaning. Or connections to meaningful relationships.
And, what about values? Have you given those up because you followed a path that was not yours, but perhaps one that was expected of you?
It could be you’re confronting the fact that you’ve not followed a path that was yours and that you’ve settled for less and conformed to what the world or others want. In that process, however, you’ve lost YOU!
Make a Connection
Do you feel like you’re being authentic? Are you making choices that don’t resonate with you? Do those choices give you energy?
Life coaching can help you with this. The first step is breaking old habits that have caused you to settle for less.
Settling is a habit – one that must be broken if you’re ever going to experience the life you were born to live.
Let’s talk about this “choice” thing. You know, when you’re a child growing up, you might have had dreams, but not always a lot of choices. Your well-meaning parents and teachers guided and directed you the best they could, but sometimes it was with their vision of you they had in mind.
When you can finally choose for yourself, you don’t make the choices that lead you to your dreams. In your journey to adulthood, you don’t always realize that the choices you made along the way have been what others wanted for you . . . not what you have wanted. And so that kid, the one who could envision anything, got lost!
So . . . let me ask you . . . do your choices:
- Move you forward?
- Bring fulfillment?
- Please you?
- Bring energy?
- Help you grow?
Are you under-living?
You only get one chance to go through this adventure known as life. Don’t waste a minute living something that does not resonate with you!
Let me help you explore and discover a life that gives you energy, purpose and meaning.
